Where The Wild Things Are

This morning Daddy took Alex to see his first movie in the theater!  They went to see "Where the Wild Things Are"!  Based on the children's book by Maurice Sendak, a 9-year old boy named Max runs away from home and becomes King of the land Where the Wild Things Are.  Alex enjoyed himself (but dropped his popcorn before even getting to his seat).  He sat in his seat the entire 90-minutes of the film.  It was a special showing for kids, so there were a lot of children in the theater.

My first movie in the theater was ET, in 1982.

I want to get him into a toddler bed soon, but he is still sleeping well in his crib.  Alex helped pick out the sports stickers for the walls (and 'helped' apply them).  He is such a good little helper!
